🤝 How to make $$ going to Events 🤝

Hi ,

Before you dismiss this as just another clickbait, hear me out. Events have been pivotal in shaping the entrepreneur I am today, and I'm here to convince you that attending them is a game-changer for Amazon sellers like us.

With Prosper kicking off the Amazon event season, your social media feeds will soon flood with snapshots of peers having a blast. You might wonder why you're not in on the action or what's the real benefit of attending events filled with sales pitches. But trust me, not all events are created equal, and each holds valuable opportunities.

Back when I was a newbie in the Amazon game, events were my lifeline for industry insights. I'd dive deep into conversations with sellers, speakers, and service providers, leaving with a hoarse voice but a mind buzzing with knowledge. The connections I forged at these events opened doors and paved the way for countless opportunities to share wisdom and support fellow sellers.

But this isn’t just about my journey. Most Amazon entrepreneurs, often buried in spreadsheets, could use a break and some fresh perspective. Here are three compelling reasons why sellers should prioritize attending events:

  1. Physical Change of Environment: Don’t get too comfortable in your lab. Amazon is ever-evolving, and events put you in direct contact with insiders who share insights before they hit private groups.

  2. Mental Reset: Being an Amazon seller is tough. Events offer a break from the grind, providing mental clarity and reminding us that challenges are part of the journey.

  3. Emotional Connection: Meeting peers face-to-face fosters a sense of community and provides invaluable support. The emotional benefits of events cannot be overstated.

  4. Learning: Yes, you can still learn new things at events, but to me, it’s always a secondary goal.

  5. Motivation: More than anything, going to events motivates me to keep moving forward and taking action. I always feel pumped when going back home and ready to get to work. A few weeks after an event, motivation starts coming down again, so it’s time to go to another event. I try to go to at least one event every 3-4 months.

Now, are large events bad? Not necessarily. But I have a soft spot for smaller to mid-sized gatherings where connections run deep.

I'm excited to announce my participation in the European Seller Conference for the 2nd year in a row, hosted by my friend Augustus Kligys from Orange Klik. Remember, use the code “TOMER50” for a 50 Euros discount at checkout.

Additionally, for those seeking intimate environments and genuine connections, consider joining me at the Top Dog Summit. With only 31 spots available, it’s an exclusive opportunity to network and learn from like-minded sellers.

In conclusion, the added value of attending Amazon events can catapult your business to new heights. I’ll leave you with this thought:

Going to a conference is like taking a crash course in your industry, with coffee breaks.

I hope to see you somewhere around the world soon,

Tomer
