🏆 Competition is for Losers 🏇
Hi ,
Have you heard the saying “Competition is for losers”?
This quote is from Peter Thiel, the co-founder of PayPal and the author of the great book Zero to One.
I love this quote and truly believe that’s the best way to go when it comes to business.
You don’t want to compete, you want to control.
When Covid hit, I knew it would stay with us for a while. I knew I wouldn’t be able to travel to different events and meet with new sellers.
I knew I wanted to do something to give back to the industry. I had a few different options - Start a YouTube channel, host a podcast, write a blog, and the list goes on.
I had two issues with each of the list above:
They were done to death by great people in the industry.
It’s something I will need to maintain for years to come.
Instead, I’ve decided to write a book. Not another book on “How to sell on Amazon”, but a book about my journey as a seller and how I’ve helped other sellers scale their Amazon businesses.
The benefit of not competing with anyone is that the entire industry was happy to push the book - Share it on social media channels, host me as a blog writer, host me on their podcasts, etc.
It’s been a year since the launch of my book Ride The Amazon Wave with over 200 5-star reviews on Amazon. I’ve sold thousands of copies so far (much more than expected) and gave away over 3,000 more at different events around the world.
The book is something that I’ve worked very hard on for over 2 years, but that’s it, I’m done. It’s not one of those things I have to maintain.
I think this is also why I love developing and selling physical products - If I do my job right in the product development phase by developing great and better products, everything else is a smooth ride from there.
I’m telling you this because I want you to think about what you can do to stop competing with others in your niche.
How do you do that in the most competitive marketplace in the world?
By choosing the right products and differentiating them the right way. This is done by choosing products where most sellers are not looking.
In my book, I call this method The Big Apple - How to find niche products in saturated categories.
I will be doing a workshop next week inside my Top Dog Community, which we’ve just reopened the doors for. Not only that, we’ve just launched our dedicated app, both for Apple and Android devices.

I’m doing The Big Apple Workshop next Wednesday, September 19th.
We have a 7-day free trial. Feel free to join the community, attend the workshop, look around the community, and see if it’s right for you.
When signing up, make sure you use the coupon code TOPDOG33 for a lifetime 33% off.
Mastering The Big Apple strategy will be one of the best things you can do for your business.
I’ll see you inside,
Tomer
P.S
During the workshop, I will also be showing one of the ways we were able to easily scale products by 20%-30% just by launching the right variations. This is something I never covered in this level of detail.
