👔 A Nice Suit = Investment 💰
Hi ,
When I was doing magic for a living, I was always looking for and buying new magic tricks as soon as they came out. I always wanted to know what’s hot and trending. I quickly came to realize, this was a mistake.
A common saying among professional magicians:
A rookie magician performs different tricks to the same people, an experienced magician performs the same tricks to different people.
When you start performing professionally, you have the few tricks on your arsenal that you do best and run with the same act for at least a year, but you would usually rotate every couple of years. I know magicians who have been doing the same act for over 20 years.
When you think about it, the same is true for any artist, whether it’s musicians, standup comedians, or anyone who performs in front of a crowd.
When I started surrounding myself with experienced magicians, I noticed they didn’t care much about the new tricks that came out. Instead, they would invest their hard-earned cash on different things.
One of those is - A nice suit. 👔
One of the first things I learned when I started performing was:
Always dress a bit better than everyone else attending the event you’re performing in.
A nice suit does a few things:
Gives you confidence.
Makes you look good.
Makes you stand out from the crowd.
Be taken seriously after you grab their attention.
Why am I telling you all of this?
Not because you need a new suit, but what the suit represents.
I meet so many sellers working from a 7-year-old laptop and working from a kitchen chair.
Here’s what you need to invest in:
A new laptop every 3-5 years at most (I’m an Apple fan)
Get a proper chair
Get a docking station
Get a proper screen (or multiple screens)
Get a proper microphone and camera
Position your desk in front of a window (if you have a private pool that’s even better)
Here’s mine:

I don’t care if you are stationary or if you move around a lot and doing the digital nomad lifestyle. I recently moved to Thailand with my family and we’ll be staying here for at least 9 months total, I still went ahead and got a proper workstation.
Not only is all of this a tax write-off, it’s an investment that will pay you back in dividends.
When I work 1:1 with successful Amazon sellers, I don’t focus on the new tricks or hacks, I focus on what drives the business forward and works every single time - Product research/development, variations, PPC, supply chain, etc. I help them focus on where the money is.
The main question I focus on:
“What does this brand need to do to double itself in the next 12-24 months?”
I still have room to onboard 3 more sellers this quarter, if you’re interested in working 1:1 with me and doing at least 7-figures a year on Amazon, email me back for more details.
